These Terms and Conditions apply to all window cleaning and external cleaning services provided by Aqua Boss Cleaning Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “the customer”). By booking or allowing work to commence, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Services
1.1 We provide window cleaning and external cleaning services, which may include but are not limited to window cleaning, frame and sill cleaning, gutter clearing, fascia/soffit cleaning, pressure washing, and conservatory or solar panel cleaning. 1.2 The scope of work will be agreed verbally, in writing, or via quotation prior to commencement. 1.3 Any additional services requested that are not included in the original agreement may incur additional charges.
2. Quotations and Pricing
2.1 All quotations are based on the information provided at the time and may be subject to change if conditions differ on arrival. 2.2 Prices may be fixed per visit or agreed as a recurring charge for regular services. 2.3 We reserve the right to review and adjust prices with reasonable notice, particularly due to increased costs, access difficulties, or changes to the scope of work.
3. Payments
3.1 Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in advance. 3.2 Accepted payment methods include [cash/bank transfer/card/etc.]. 3.3 Late payments may result in suspension of services and/or recovery action. 3.4 Any outstanding balance must be settled before further work is carried out.
4. Access and Safety
4.1 You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas. 4.2 We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, including but not limited to poor weather, aggressive animals, or unsafe surfaces. 4.3 We may use ladders, water-fed pole systems, or other professional equipment as required. 4.4 Vehicles, furniture, and fragile items should be moved away from work areas where possible.
5. Weather Conditions
5.1 External cleaning services are weather-dependent. 5.2 Light rain does not normally affect window cleaning results; however, we reserve the right to reschedule in severe or unsafe weather. 5.3 If a visit is postponed due to weather, we will rearrange at the earliest reasonable opportunity.
6. Cancellations and Missed Appointments
6.1 We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. 6.2 Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged at up to the full service price. 6.3 If we are unable to access the property at the agreed time, the visit may be charged or rescheduled at our discretion.
7. Quality of Work
7.1 We aim to provide a professional, high-quality service at all times. 7.2 Due to the nature of external cleaning, some stains or marks may not be fully removable. 7.3 Any issues must be reported within [24–48] hours of service completion so we can assess and, if appropriate, rectify.
8. Damage and Liability
8.1 We take reasonable care while carrying out our services and hold appropriate public liability insurance. 8.2 We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to broken seals, cracked glass, blown double-glazing units, loose fittings, degraded frames, or faulty gutters. 8.3 We are not liable for damage caused by poor maintenance, age-related wear, or structural defects. 8.4 For domestic customers, nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. 8.5 Subject to clause 8.4, our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
9. Customer Responsibilities
9.1 You must inform us of any known hazards, fragile areas, or special requirements before work begins. 9.2 You are responsible for ensuring windows, gutters, and external surfaces are suitable for cleaning.
10. Regular Service Agreements
10.1 Regular service customers agree to ongoing visits at agreed intervals. 10.2 We may clean while you are not present, provided safe access is available. 10.3 Regular services may be cancelled with reasonable notice. For domestic customers, this will not affect statutory consumer rights.
11. Complaints
11.1 Complaints should be made promptly and within a reasonable time after the service is carried out. 11.2 We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
12.1 Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 12.2 Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of providing services, managing accounts, and communicating with customers. 12.3 We will not share personal information with third parties unless required by law or necessary to fulfil the service.
13. Governing Law
13.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 13.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Amendments
14.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. 14.2 The latest version will apply to all ongoing and future services.
15. Commercial Customers Only
15.1 For commercial customers, these Terms form a business-to-business contract. 15.2 The Consumer Rights Act 2015 does not apply to commercial contracts. 15.3 Commercial customers are responsible for ensuring suitable access, permissions, and risk assessments where required. 15.4 We reserve the right to charge for waiting time, aborted visits, or delays caused by site conditions or third parties.
